WKF&C Agency, Inc is Seeking Multi-line E&S Property & Casualty Underwriters

We are looking for an experienced commercial multi-line underwriter to join our teams in our Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and Long Island offices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a growing MGU with a great culture and work environment. 

WKF&C prides itself on servicing solely wholesale brokerage community. This is a true production underwriting role rather than a desk underwriting role. The applicant must have excellent communication skills and a track record of developing strong relationships within the insurance community. 

A WKF&C underwriter is responsible for producing business in assigned territories/brokers and underwrite new and renewal business. Additionally, the underwriter will evaluate, classify, and rate the risk to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing in accordance with each of our companies guidelines. They will also monitor critical areas, such as loss ratios, retention ratios and new business hit ratios.

Requirements:

- 5 years commercial multi-line underwriting experience. 

- 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience. 

- P&C education preferred or a willingness to get designations such as CPCU, CIC,  ARM, RPLU or CRM.

- A passion for the insurance business.

- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a paperless environment.
